Live, Virtual session (45-60 minutes) First Class: Monday, July 6 4:30AM EDT Second Class: Thursday, July 9 4:30 AM EDT Classes continue this way until August 6th Available on Outschool Ages ~ 8-12 Creating Love Within: Practical Strategies for Challenges Course Description: This course is designed to help build the foundation for positive self-worth and create lasting habits of self-compassion and empowerment. Through engaging stories, discussions, and activities, children will gain tools to foster self-love, resilience, and confidence in everyday life. Each week includes fun, interactive activities (plus optional homework to reinforce learning). Lesson Details: 1. Foundations of Self-Love & Body Positivity 2. Growth Mindset 3. Positive Self-Talk 4. Creating Joy 5. Finding Safety Within 6. Accepting Emotions 7. R.A.I.N 8. Releasing Big Emotions 9. Being Your Own Friend 10. Sustaining Healthy Habits/Putting it All Together *Disclaimer* This course is designed to complement our child's emotional development and encourage the practice of healthy self-love habits. It is not intended to replace professional therapy or counseling. While the course offers valuable tools and resources, it is not a quick fix and should be seen as part of a holistic approach to emotional well-being. Instructor's Message: Growing up, I saw firsthand how a lack of self-love can create patterns of hurt, low self-esteem, and even unhealthy relationships. Having walked the path of healing and growth myself, I’m here to guide your child on their own journey toward self-love, resilience, and empowerment—so they have the tools to rise into their full potential. Cancellation Policy
1. Course Cancellation Policy Once the course begins, cancellations will not be accepted due to the structured nature of the course, where each session builds upon the previous one. However, if you need to cancel, you may do so up to 48 hours before the course start time for a full refund. Cancellations made after this period will not be refunded. If a participant cannot attend a specific session, they will have the option to catch up with provided resources (see "Sick Days"). 2. Sick Days / Missed Sessions If your child is unable to attend a session due to illness, please inform me via email at creatinglovewithin@gmail.com. I will send a summary of the session’s content and optional extension activities. Your child can then complete the materials at their own pace before the next class. Make-Up Sessions If you miss a class and there is an upcoming session with availability (e.g., you signed up for Monday, but a Tuesday class has room for one additional participant), I may be able to offer a chance to catch up in that class. Please note, however, that this is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
